{"id":131,"date":"2019-05-31T08:36:53","date_gmt":"2019-05-31T08:36:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dentalhomebest.com\/?p=131"},"modified":"2019-05-31T08:36:53","modified_gmt":"2019-05-31T08:36:53","slug":"whats-root-canal-therapy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dentalhomebest.com\/index.php\/2019\/05\/31\/whats-root-canal-therapy\/","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s Root Canal Therapy?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Root canal therapy is used to treat pathological conditions inside a tooth that have affected its nerve tissue, and often the tissues that surround its root too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dentalhomebest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/root-canal.png\" alt=\"root-canal\" class=\"wp-image-132\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By completing a\ntooth\u2019s treatment, a dentist can both resolve its internal problems as well as\nset the stage so your body\u2019s healing process can take place as effectively as\npossible, thus allowing the tissues surrounding its root to return to and\/or\nmaintain a healthy status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The procedure\nitself is basically a two-staged process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cleansing the\ntooth\u2019s interior \u2013 The first portion of the procedure removes compromised\n(infected, necrotic, degenerating) tissues, and associated debris and\ncontaminates, from within a tooth\u2019s nerve space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sealing off the\ntreated area \u2013 The procedure is completed by filling in and sealing off the\ntooth\u2019s cleansed internal space, so contaminates can\u2019t leak back in, or out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cleaning the\ntooth \u2013 What does this step accomplish?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dentists use\nroot canal treatment to resolve a wide range of nerve-related problems. For\nexample, this same fix is used when a tooth\u2019s nerve tissue is: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. Acutely\ninflamed, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. In the\nprocess of dying, or <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. Completely\nnecrotic (dead). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During this step,\nultrasonic scaler will be used. Related to this goal, there are\ntwo objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of them is\nfor the filling material to create a seal that prevents contaminates from\nseeping back into the tooth, so it\u2019s not recontaminated. The other goal is just\nthe opposite.
